The honest answer from our coaches, and why three good sessions beat six rushed ones.

Almost every new member at Highwire Fitness asks the same question in their first week: how many sessions do I actually need? The answer is fewer than most people think, and more consistent than most people manage.
Three sessions a week is enough to build strength, improve fitness and see visible change in eight to twelve weeks. Two strength-focused sessions and one conditioning class is a balance we recommend to almost everyone starting out.
Training is the stimulus; sleep, food and rest days are where your body adapts. Stack seven hard days in a row and you'll feel flat, sore and unmotivated by week three. That's not weakness, it's physiology.
Once three sessions feel routine for a month, add a fourth that's lower intensity: mobility, yoga or an easy ride. Increase volume before intensity, and let your coach know so your programme adjusts.
The best plan is the one you'll still be following in six months. If you're not sure where to start, book a free consultation and we'll map a week that fits your life.
