Register online in a couple of minutes or pop into reception. If your pet has been seen elsewhere, we'll request their records from your old vet so we have the full history.

Q.01 · Appointments
Register online in a couple of minutes or pop into reception. If your pet has been seen elsewhere, we'll request their records from your old vet so we have the full history.
Q.02 · Appointments
Call us straight away on our main number, day or night. During opening hours we'll see you as quickly as possible; out of hours, the line goes through to our emergency vet partner near Brighton, who share your pet's records.
Q.03 · Appointments
Yes. You can choose your vet when booking online, and we try hard to keep ongoing cases with the same vet so they know your pet.
Q.04 · Costs & insurance
We work with all major pet insurers and can claim directly from most of them, so you only pay your excess. Ask at reception when you book; we'll need your policy number and a signed claim form.
Q.05 · Costs & insurance
Always. We give you a written estimate before any tests, procedures or hospital stays, and we'll call you if costs are likely to change.
Q.06 · Costs & insurance
No. The plan spreads the cost of routine, preventive care like vaccinations and flea treatment and gives you discounts. Insurance covers unexpected illness and injury. Most owners benefit from both.
Q.07 · Pet care
Puppies usually have their first injection at 8 weeks and a second at 10–12 weeks. Kittens start at 9 weeks with a second at 12 weeks. Boosters are given every year after that.
Q.08 · Pet care
Cats can be neutered from four months. For dogs it depends on breed and size, from six months for small breeds to over a year for some large breeds. Your vet will advise on the best timing for your dog.
Q.09 · Practice
We treat rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, hamsters and chinchillas, with vets who have extra training in small pets. For reptiles and birds, we'll refer you to a trusted exotics colleague.
