Storyboard
Synopsis. Most sore throats are viral and get better within a week. Our pharmacists use the FeverPAIN score to spot likely strep infections, so antibiotics are only given when they will genuinely help. Common signs include painful throat, especially when swallowing, swollen tonsils, sometimes with white spots, fever.
