FAQ
Quick answers about our practice areas, pricing and booking at Brennan Quay Law. Can't find yours? Just ask.
Yes. New clients get a free 30-minute call to explain the issue and hear your options. If you instruct us, we'll confirm costs in writing before any chargeable work starts.
Absolutely. Most meetings take place by video, but you're welcome to visit our Dublin office. Home visits are available for wills and LPAs.
We offer fixed fees for conveyancing, wills, LPAs, probate, uncontested divorce and settlement agreements. For disputes, we agree a budget for each stage so there are no surprises.
We don't hold a legal aid contract, but we can point you to firms that do. We also explain any funding options, such as legal expenses insurance, that might cover your case.
Most purchases complete in 8 to 12 weeks. Longer chains, leasehold properties and slow search results can extend this, and we'll warn you early if we see a delay coming.
We store original wills free of charge in our secure deeds facility and record them on a national will register so your executors can find them.
Yes, and some are very short. Employment claims usually need to be started within three months, and most contract claims within six years. Please contact us as soon as possible.
