Volunteer with us, explained.
More than 400 volunteers keep Wattle Lane Community running, and every one of them makes a difference. Whether you have two hours a month or two days a week, there's a role for you: in the warehouse, the kitchen, the garden, the charity shop, on the phone or behind the wheel of a delivery van.

How it works
- 01Fill in the short form online or pop into the hub for a chat
- 02Meet our volunteer coordinator and choose a role that suits you
- 03Free induction, safeguarding training and a DBS check where needed
- 04Start with a buddy on your first few shifts, then give as much or as little time as you like
Good to know
- Some roles need a DBS check, which we pay for
- Drivers need a full UK licence held for 2+ years
- Under-16s can volunteer with a parent
