• 01MOTWhen is my car's first MOT due?

  Three years after it was first registered, then every year after that. You can have the MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it's due and keep the same renewal date.

• 02MOTWhat happens if my car fails?

  We'll show you exactly what failed, with photos, and give you a fixed quote. If we do the repair and retest within 10 working days, the retest is free. Cars with dangerous defects shouldn't be driven away.

• 03ServicingWill servicing with you affect my manufacturer warranty?

  No. Under block exemption rules you can have your car serviced anywhere, as long as the work follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality. We do both and stamp your book or update the digital record.

• 04ServicingWhat's the difference between an MOT and a service?

  An MOT is a legal safety and emissions check at a point in time. A service is maintenance: changing oil, filters and fluids and checking wear to keep the car reliable. They're often done together.

• 05PricingWill you do any work without asking me?

  Never. If we find something during a service or MOT, we'll call or text with photos and a price. Nothing extra is done until you've approved it.

• 06PricingDo you offer payment plans?

  Yes. Our monthly service plans spread the cost of your MOT and servicing, and larger repairs over £300 can be split into interest-free payments, subject to status.

• 07BookingDo you offer courtesy cars or collection?

  We have courtesy cars for longer jobs (book ahead), and offer free collection and delivery within 5 miles of the garage. We can also drop you at work or the station anywhere in Aberdeen.

• 08BookingCan I drop my car off early or after hours?

  Yes. Our secure key safe is available 24/7. Book online, park in a marked bay and pop your key in the safe with your registration on the envelope.

• 09EV & hybridDo you work on electric and hybrid cars?

  Yes. Our technicians hold IMI Level 3 and 4 electric vehicle qualifications and we have a dedicated EV bay with high-voltage safety equipment.

• 10WarrantyIs your work guaranteed?

  All parts and labour are covered by a 12-month, unlimited-mileage warranty. Paintwork repairs carry a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car.
