Overview
Sinusitis, explained.
Acute sinusitis is swelling of the sinuses, usually after a cold. Most cases clear on their own within 2–3 weeks, but if symptoms last more than 10 days or get worse, our pharmacist can assess you and supply treatment under the NHS Pharmacy First service. Common signs include pain or pressure around the cheeks, eyes or forehead, blocked or runny nose, reduced sense of smell.
