How long is the free trial?
Every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial with all features unlocked. No credit card is needed, and you'll drop to the Free plan automatically if you don't upgrade.
Can I import from other tools?
Yes. Patchwork imports from CSV and most popular project tools in a few clicks, including tasks, assignees, comments and attachments. Business plans get a guided migration.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed per member, monthly or annually. Annual billing saves around 20%. Guests and viewers are always free.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your billing settings at any time. Upgrades are prorated and your data stays put if you move to Free.
Is my data secure?
We are SOC 2 Type II certified, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and run annual third-party penetration tests. Our trust centre has our full security documentation.
Where is my data stored?
By default in the EU or US, depending on where you sign up. Enterprise customers can choose EU, US or Australian data residency.
Does Patchwork AI use my data for training?
No. Your workspace data is never used to train models, and AI features respect the same permissions as the rest of your workspace.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or education?
Yes. Registered nonprofits and accredited schools get 50% off any paid plan. Contact our team with proof of status to apply.
