Maya founded Tempo Athletics after ten years coaching athletes and everyday lifters. She holds a master's in exercise science and still coaches the 6am crew.
Strength Coach
Former competitive powerlifter who now specialises in teaching beginners to lift with confidence and good form.
Pilates & Mobility Lead
Physiotherapy background with a decade of reformer teaching. Loves helping members train around old injuries.
Nutrition Coach
Certified nutrition coach focused on habits that stick, not quick fixes. Mum of two and a realist about busy weeks.

Sub-3 marathoner who coaches runners of every level, from first 5K to Boston qualifiers.
